Privacy Policy

The short version
- Your speeches live in your browser. Drafts, versions and vows are stored on your device, not on our servers.
- We keep very little: your sign-in email, a record of any purchase, and anonymous counters.
- The stories you type are processed, not stored. They go to our AI provider to write your draft and come straight back.
- Paddle.com handles payment. We never see card numbers.
- We do not sell personal data. Ever.
1. Who we are
Wedding Speech AI is operated by Arihant Kumar Jain, an individual trading as Wedding Speech AI, of Flat No 107, 45 Astha Residency, Carmelaram, Bengaluru, Karnataka 560035, India ("we", "us"). We are the controller for the personal data we collect about users of weddingspeechai.com (the "Service"). Privacy questions and requests: hello@weddingspeechai.com.
2. What we collect, why, and on what legal basis

Payment details (card, billing address, tax ID) are collected by Paddle.com directly, as an independent controller, under its own privacy policy. We receive only what we need to confirm your purchase: the transaction ID, status, product and the email it was bought under.
Wedding speeches naturally include names and stories about other people. Please be as thoughtful about what you type as you would be in any notes app.
3. Data stored on your device
Your speech and vow drafts, their version history and your free-preview usage are stored in your browser's local storage. They never reach our database. Clearing your browser data deletes them permanently, and we cannot recover them.
4. Who we share data with
Only the service providers needed to run the Service, each bound to process it on our instructions or under their own privacy terms:
- Paddle.com, merchant of record: sale of the Wedding Pack, payments, tax compliance, invoicing and refunds
- Anthropic: AI generation of your drafts. API data is not used to train its models.
- Supabase: sign-in, purchase records, feedback and anonymous counters
- Vercel: hosting and cookieless web analytics
- Google: sign-in, only if you choose "Continue with Google"
- Resend: delivering emails you ask for, such as your outline
- Professional advisers (legal, accounting) where needed
- Authorities, where the law requires it or to protect rights and safety
No advertisers, no data brokers, no sale of personal data.
5. International transfers
We are based in India, and our providers process data mainly in the United States. Where data from the UK or EEA leaves those regions, we rely on the safeguards our providers offer, such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses.
6. How long we keep it
- Account: until you ask us to delete it.
- Purchase records: for as long as tax and accounting law requires, then deleted.
- Text you submit for generation: not retained after the response returns.
- Feedback: until you ask us to remove it.
- Hashed usage counters and anonymous page counts: kept only as aggregates that cannot identify you.
When data is no longer needed, we delete or anonymize it.
7. Your rights
Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR, UK GDPR, India's DPDP Act or the CCPA), you can ask to access, correct, delete, restrict or port your personal data, object to processing based on legitimate interests, and withdraw consent at any time. Email hello@weddingspeechai.com and we will respond within one month (extendable where the law allows). You can also complain to your local data protection authority, such as the ICO in the UK.
8. Security
All traffic is encrypted with TLS. Database access is restricted by role and row-level security, so each signed-in user can read only their own purchase. Payment webhooks are verified by signature before anything is recorded. Your speech content is not stored on our servers at all.
9. Cookies
We use only strictly necessary cookies: a sign-in session cookie that keeps you logged in, and an older signed cookie that recorded a purchase before purchases moved to our database. There are no advertising or cross-site tracking cookies, so there is nothing to opt into. Blocking cookies in your browser signs you out.
Two small cookies remember language: one records the language version of the site you last used, so the next visit opens in it, and one holds a suggested language for the current browser session, based on your browser's language setting or your country. Neither identifies you or is shared with anyone.
Our page counters and Vercel Web Analytics set no cookies. Vercel derives a temporary hash from your IP address and browser to count a repeat view within a day, discards it after 24 hours, and never stores the raw IP address.
10. Children
The Service is not directed at children under 16 and we do not knowingly process their data.
