A shared skeleton is not a shared speech
People search for a wedding speech template because they want permission to stop inventing a structure. Fair. The structure is not the hard part. The hard part is picking one scene and cutting everything else. This page gives you the skeleton and then refuses to fill it with anyone else's jokes.
If you are the father, your one scene is probably her at seven, not the venue. If you are the best man, it is a disaster you both survived. If you are the groom, it is sixty seconds of thank yous and then her. Same four beats. Different material.

A template you can actually say
The four-beat skeleton, any role
- Hook: one specific image. Not 'for those who do not know me'.
- Who you are, in one sentence.
- One story with a beginning, a middle, and an end the room can see.
- The turn: one true thing, proved by that story, said plainly.
- The toast: one sentence, names, glass. Stop talking.
If you are thanking people (groom, sometimes parents)
- Guests who travelled, ten seconds.
- Parents, ten seconds, no biography of their marriage.
- The people who did the unglamorous work, ten seconds.
- Then abandon the list. The rest of the speech is about the person you married, or the child you are toasting.
