Terms of Service

1. Who you are contracting with

Wedding Speech AI is operated by Arihant Kumar Jain, an individual trading as Wedding Speech AI, of Flat No 107, 45 Astha Residency, Carmelaram, Bengaluru, Karnataka 560035, India ("we", "us"). These Terms of Service ("Terms") are a binding agreement between you and Arihant Kumar Jain for your use of weddingspeechai.com and every Wedding Speech AI feature (the "Service").

By accessing or continuing to use the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. What the Service is, and is not

Wedding Speech AI generates wedding speeches, vows, delivery notes, and related content using AI, based on the personal stories and details you provide. It is a writing and editing tool, not a professional speechwriting or relationship-counseling service, and AI-generated content can be imprecise, generic in places, or simply not to your taste; that is why free previews and revisions exist. You are solely responsible for reviewing, fact-checking, and personalizing anything you deliver in front of other human beings at someone's wedding.

3. Eligibility and your account

You must be at least 16 years old. You can try the Service without an account. To use it beyond the free preview, or to buy the Wedding Pack, you sign in with your email address or Google account; your purchase is tied to that email so it follows you across devices. Your drafts are stored in your own browser (see the Privacy Policy), so clearing it deletes them and we cannot recover them. You are responsible for keeping access to your email account secure.

4. Price, payment and taxes

A wedding happens once, so Wedding Speech AI sells a one-time product, not a subscription: the Wedding Pack, a single payment of US$9. It gives you unlimited revisions and every tool for 60 days from purchase. It does not renew and you are never charged again.

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com, which is the merchant of record for all our orders. Paddle.com handles payment, billing, invoicing, sales tax and VAT, and returns, and provides customer service for billing inquiries. Your purchase is also subject to Paddle's buyer terms. Prices are in US dollars; your local currency and any applicable tax are shown at checkout before you pay.

5. Refunds

You can get a full refund for any reason within 14 days of purchase. How to request one is in our Refund Policy, which forms part of these Terms. A refund ends access to the Wedding Pack.

6. Acceptable use

You must not misuse the Service, or use it to generate harmful content. In particular, you must not use it:

• for anything unlawful, or to get instructions for committing a crime or other wrongdoing;
• for fraud, spam, or deceptive or manipulative purposes;
• to impersonate a real person or organization, or to misrepresent where content came from;
• to create sexual content involving a real person without their consent;
• for hate, harassment, threats, incitement to violence, or content that is defamatory or intended to humiliate a real person without their knowledge;
• to publish someone's personal data without a lawful basis, including doxxing;
• to create or distribute malware, hacking instructions or credential theft, or to interfere with the Service's security or operation (including probing or scanning for vulnerabilities, overloading it, or scraping or systematically extracting it or its outputs);
• to evade or test its safety controls ("jailbreaking"), or to circumvent free-tier limits, payment requirements or other technical safeguards;
• to infringe anyone's intellectual property or other rights;
• to resell the Service or its outputs as a competing offering.

7. AI-generated content and your responsibility

You are responsible for:

• the stories, names and other content you submit;
• having the right to submit it, including any personal details about other people;
• reviewing outputs before you use them. AI output may be inaccurate, incomplete or inappropriate for your audience, so check names, facts and tone before you deliver or publish anything; and
• how you use or rely on what the Service produces.

The Service writes speeches, vows and notes. It does not give legal, financial, medical or other professional advice, and must not be used as a substitute for it.

Moderation. To protect users and third parties, we may filter or refuse to generate certain outputs, remove or restrict content, restrict features or access, and suspend or terminate accounts, whether for a breach of these Terms or where we reasonably suspect abuse.

8. Your content and intellectual property complaints

You retain all rights to the content you submit and, as between you and us, own the speeches and vows generated for you. You grant us the limited license needed to process your submissions through our AI provider solely to operate the Service. We do not sell your content, use it to train models, or use it for advertising.

If you believe content made with the Service infringes your rights, email hello@weddingspeechai.com with details of the work and the infringement. We will review it promptly and remove or restrict access where appropriate. Accounts of repeat infringers will be terminated.

9. Our intellectual property

We own the Service and all intellectual property in it, including its software, documentation, design, prompts and branding. These Terms give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Service to prepare your own speech or vows, and nothing more.

10. Service level and disclaimers

We work to keep the Service available and useful, but we do not guarantee that it will be uninterrupted, timely, secure or error-free, or that AI output will be accurate or appropriate for your audience.

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT, AND WITHOUT ANY PROMISE THAT BROWSER-STORED DRAFTS WILL NEVER BE LOST. PRACTICE YOUR SPEECH OUT LOUD AND KEEP YOUR OWN BACKUP COPY.

11. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING FOR A SPEECH THAT DID NOT LAND THE WAY YOU HOPED. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM IS LIMITED TO THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM AROSE, OR USD $50 IF YOU PAID NOTHING. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

12. Suspension and termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access, with notice where reasonable, if you materially breach these Terms, if a payment is not made or is reversed (for example, a chargeback), if your use creates a security or fraud risk, or for repeated or serious violations of our policies. Sections 7 to 11 and 14 survive termination.

13. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms. Material changes will be posted on this page with a new effective date at least 14 days before taking effect. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance. Changes never apply retroactively to a purchase you have already made.

14. Governing law and contact

These Terms are governed by the laws of India; courts in Bengaluru, Karnataka have exclusive jurisdiction. Non-waivable consumer protections in your country of residence remain unaffected.
