What actually makes this speech work

Almost every wedding speech that fails, fails the same way: it is about weddings rather than about these two people. Generic warmth, borrowed structure, adjectives that would apply to any couple who has ever stood in that room. It is pleasant, it is forgettable, and everyone can tell.

The material that works is always specific and it is always already yours. The trip that went wrong. The thing they said when nobody else was listening. The habit you noticed before they did. You are not short of material. You are short of a structure to put it in and the nerve to cut the parts that do not earn their place.

That is the division of labour here. You bring the stories. The tool handles the ordering, so the laugh lands before the sincere turn, cuts the lines that are true but flat, and marks the pauses so you perform it rather than read it. Choose your role below and the questions change to match it.

How it works

  1. 1. Choose your role

Best man, maid of honor, groom, bride, father or mother of the couple. Each carries its own rules about length, tone, and what you can safely say.

  2. 2. Answer seven questions about the couple

How you met them. The story you still tell. What you genuinely admire. What changed when they met each other. About two minutes of typing.

  3. 3. Read the outline and opening free

Structure plus the first 150 words, with no card and no account. If the voice is wrong, you have lost two minutes.

  4. 4. Unlock the full speech if it is right

Full draft, two alternate tones for a room you are unsure about, delivery notes, and three closing toast lines. One payment of $29, unlimited revisions for 60 days.

What the output sounds like

Specific, which is the only thing that reliably works
"There is a photograph of Dan from 2011 that I was asked, very politely, not to show tonight. So I will describe it instead."
The turn, which every role needs in some form
"But here is what I actually came up here to say. In fifteen years I have never once seen him fail to show up for someone. Not just when it was convenient. Every time."

Questions people actually ask

Is the wedding speech generator free?
The outline, the structure, and your opening line are free with no card and no account. The full speech, two alternate tones, delivery notes, and toast lines are a one time $29 unlock. It is not a subscription, because a wedding happens once.
Which roles does it cover?
Best man, maid of honor, bridesmaid, groom, bride, father of the bride or groom, and mother of the bride or groom. Each role has its own questions and its own craft rules rather than a shared template.
How long should a wedding speech be?
Three to five minutes for most roles, roughly 400 to 650 words at a natural speaking pace. Bridesmaid speeches are usually shorter at two to three minutes. You choose the length and the draft is written to it.
Will it sound like AI wrote it?
That is the thing it is built against. The speech is assembled from the specific names, stories, and phrases you type in, and the system prompt bans 42 wedding cliches along with the AI tells people have learned to spot. Read the free opening and judge before paying.
How long does it take?
About ten minutes to answer the questions, and the draft comes back immediately. If your wedding is in three days, that is genuinely enough time, and it leaves you the two days that matter most for practising out loud.
